.:What are you doing New Year’s Eve?:.

My friend, Cynthia, asked me, months ago, if I would second shoot with her at a wedding on New Year’s Eve. It was pretty close to home and it sounded like it was going to be a fun group of people so I said yes and was excited to help out. We had a blast. The groom’s family was from Holland and they were the nicest people. I had so much fun chatting about American and Dutch cultural differences and sharing traditions. We taught them about black-eyed peas (that they liked) and they had us trying Oliebollen (Dutch Donuts- they were actually pretty tasty!).We rang in the new year with a picture… Such a dorky picture of me.
