My friend Emily and I had chatted a few months back about photographing her birth and I was excited (to say the least). I didn’t get my hopes up because I wasn’t sure if the timing was going to be right- what if I was at work? Or, what if I didn’t get there in time? Well, my hubby called me today and said that he had heard that she was dilated to a four this afternoon. Well, I didn’t think she was in full blow labor so I assumed I’d get a call in the middle of the night saying well she’s a 6 so you can start making your way up here. (Her first took his time so I assumed It would be a while). Well, I got a text at 5:35 saying she was dilatedto a 9 and to come quick!! I hopped up from the dinner table, grabbed my camera, and was there in 10 minutes. I’m glad I didn’t mess around getting there because she was a complete super hero and he was here by 6:20! I was able to capture the coolest images for her that I know any mother would cherish forever. Thanks for letting me be a fly on the wall Rozell and Habern Families.
These are strait out of the camera… I knew her friends and family would be super excited to see these up.

Welcome to the world sweet baby boy.
Congrats Rozell Family! I can’t wait to hear what his name is!
Stay tuned… Newborn session to follow.
Until next time,
Emily
